Fearless Adventures started when Jackson and Kevin realized what had always grounded them was time on the water. The clarity. The beauty. The peace of the Gulf of Papagayo. They wanted to build a life here in Costa Rica—a life aligned with their values.
Stephen, a Tico captain who's lived in Playas del Coco for 15+ years, saw the same opportunity and approached them with a vision: create something real, something that mattered, something built on genuine passion for the experience. Together, they built Fearless Adventures.
We operate on three priorities, in order:
Fully licensed, insured, and professionally trained.
Reef-safe practices, catch-and-release ethics, respect for local ecosystems.
Everything we do is designed so you'll leave wanting to return, wanting more, and wanting to tell everyone about it.
Jackson and Kevin run Fearless Adventures together. Jackson brings structure and business acumen—20 years of leadership and accounting background keep operations solid. Kevin handles the creative details—every element of your experience, from the itinerary to the small touches, reflects his vision. Together, they built something they actually want to be part of.
Stephen is your captain. He's positive, thorough, professional, and genuinely passionate about your experience. For Stephen, this isn't a paycheck—it's about the memories. He knows every reef, every fish, every hidden beach in the Gulf of Papagayo.
Together, we're real people who make mistakes, laugh at ourselves, and lean on each other. And that's exactly why you can trust us with your day on the water.
Fearless Adventures operates as part of the Playas del Coco community, not separate from it. We support conservation efforts and animal welfare in our community—protecting monkeys and caring for zaguates (street dogs). We hire locally, source locally, and reinvest locally. This is home—we act like it.
